About Me

Hi, I’m Mel, a fantasy author from The Middle of Nowhere, Michigan. By day, I work as a rural carrier delivering mail and packages to what feels like the entire state. By night, I write contemporary fantasy novels born from my daydreams.

I began writing almost as soon as I learned how to use a pen, and my love for storytelling blossomed every day after. I have an endless love affair with Jane Austen, and her romances inspire so many of my own characters. Regency chivalry, coupled with my life on a cozy hobby farm with my three cats, inspires my imagination every day. I can only hope that you find my stories as inviting and entertaining as I do.
